Alpharetta, GA – PlanIT Group is proud to announce that it has been awarded a subcontract to support Advisory and Assistance Services IV (A&AS IV) under the United States Air Force in Europe (USAFE), in support of Air Force’s Special Operations Wing in the United Kingdom.
Under the operational control of the Commander, Special Operations Command Europe (COMSOCEUR), this command conducts infiltration exfiltration, and resupply of Special Operations Forces in adverse weather conditions in support of: counter-terrorism operations, direct action, counter-proliferation, military information support operations, and more. AFRICOM protects and defends the national security interests of the United States by strengthening the defense capabilities of African states and regional organizations and, when directed, conducts military operations, in order to provide a security environment conductive to good governance and development.
PlanIT Group’s team provides operational planning, technical and analytical services to support and improve policy development, decision making, management, administration, and systems operations support to the Air Force. The contract will provide current and future planning in operations, scheduling, and training support services at the Wing and Group, and be physically located in several squadrons in support of mission requirements.
