PLANIT Group has been awarded the opportunity to provide a team of software developers supporting a HIPAA 5010 upgrade to an existing Medicaid Claims Processing system. This system processes nearly 25 million claims and handles billions of dollars in Medicaid payments per year.

This team is responsible for both back-end, legacy system support as well as web enhancements including analysis, design, coding and testing various enhancements to the MMIS to support changes necessary for achieving HIPAA 5010 requirement compliance. PLANIT Group’s consultants have been tasked with leveraging years of production healthcare systems experience to optimize development/enhancement efforts for this particular Medicaid system.
