Network Technician I - Onsite

Job Description
To start off with this position will be 70% structured cabling 20% network.

Previous experience working in a relevant role within a data center environment

2-5 yrs experience with the following:

· Fiber Optic cabling installation, inspection and cleaning (80%; SM (more); MM)

· Fiber: pairing 96 to 128 strands

· Copper cable termination and certification (CAT 6)

· Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards

· Experience with Fluke Versiv Mainframe

· Cable patching between devices

· Installing and decommissioning Racks & network devices

· Physical layer (also known as Layer 1) troubleshooting

· Equipment disposal activities

· Network troubleshooting
