The APG Mechanic joins the Greenville Site Operations aircraft‐maintenance team to support F‐16 sustainment, repair, and overhaul. Duties include general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electro‐mechanical and pneumatic systems; performing operational checkouts; and conducting periodic inspections of electrical, hydraulic, propulsion, landing‐gear, flight‐control, airframe, furnishings, and crew‐escape equipment. The role also requires removing panels and hardware to access and repair components as needed.
The Sustainment APG, F-16 Technician will also need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
• Landing gear
• Powerplants
• Flight controls
• Fueling/Defueling
• Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
F-16 Experience is Required
Must be able to work 2nd shift as assigned after training
2nd Shift - Mon. thru Thurs 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM
