Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist for a multi-year, ongoing contract in Holly Ridge, LA. This is a high-visibility, onsite role requiring 5–7 years of experience in fast-paced technical environments. You will be the primary point of contact for hardware, software, and network infrastructure support.
Contract Details
  • Location: 100% Onsite (Holly Ridge, LA)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Duration: Multi-year contract (Potential for permanent conversion)
Key Responsibilities
  • Desktop & Infrastructure Support: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11, M365 apps, and peripherals (printers, docking stations, and AV systems).
  • Network Maintenance: Perform onsite troubleshooting for switches, routers, firewalls, and WAPs. Handle "rack and stack" of equipment and patch cabling.
  • Systems Administration: Manage user access and devices via Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune/MDM.
  • Asset Management: Maintain strict record-keeping of all distributed hardware and IT assets.
  • Remote & Security Support: Support VPN technologies and security tools including Cisco Umbrella and CrowdStrike.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience: 5–7 years of relevant IT support experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Environment: Expert-level support for Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows OS.
  • Hardware: Experience with video conferencing, printers, and rack-mounted network gear.
Preferred Skills
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or ITIL.
  • Tools: ServiceNow, Citrix Workspace, Bomgar, ManageEngine, or Cisco AMP.
