Will perform a broad range of routine maintenance, repair, and minor construction tasks to keep our facilities operating safely and efficiently. Primary duties include setting up, using, and safely taking down ladders and other temporary structures; performing manual labor such as pulling up carpet, removing and installing various floor coverings (tile, laminate, resilient flooring), and handling materials. The worker will execute basic carpentry tasks—including framing, door hanging, trim installation, and shelving—along with simple plumbing repairs such as faucet replacement, drain clearing, and fixture re‐capping. Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers, wrenches) and power tools (drills, saws, rotary hammers, sanders) is desirable. Worker will also conduct routine equipment maintenance, periodic inspections, and accurate documentation of work. The role also supports renovation projects, demolition, material handling, and site clean‐up while adhering strictly to all Lockheed Martin safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site‐specific procedures, including the consistent use of required personal protective equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED and have 1 - 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade. The individual must be able to climb ladders up to 20 ft regularly, lift &Client; 50 lb, and work at heights and in confined spaces. The position involves frequent standing, kneeling, crouching, and climbing, with repeated lifting or manipulation of &Client; 50 lb loads. The worker will be exposed to dust, noise, and vibration, and must wear appropriate PPE, which will be provided. Work is primarily indoor—covering office, warehouse, and production areas—with occasional exposure to outdoor elements. Shift work, weekend, or night assignments may be necessary to accommodate maintenance windows.
