- Installing, configuring, maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Travel to various offices to conduct Site surveys and document hardware systems, software, and infrastructure. Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security
- Work with DevOps and NetOps teams to deploy solutions for corporate users.
- Migrate Server data and client permissions onto the Corporate cloud.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and implement those fixes
- Maintain security, backup, and business continuity strategies
- Provide escalation support for the technology team
- Manage Email Domain Hosting and migrating domains over to a different registrar
- Change Email Domain mx records to change mail flow
- Recreate Email Profiles and be able to assist with troubleshooting mail flow issues
- Provide end user training for Email and Cloud Systems.
- Must be able to troubleshoot local Outlook issues (ex. The use of command line switches)
- Must be able to run PowerShell commands and be able to extract data from legacy Exchange systems
- 10+ years' experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPOs
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- Ability to work with a Distributed team
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely at multiple levels between business and IT staff
- Experience with working with Vendors to update Email preferences.
- Experience with virtualization (VMWare)
- Understanding of monitoring systems (PRTG, Nagios)
- Experience with Backup and Replication systems (Backup Exec, Double-Take, RecoverPoint, Veeam)
- Need to be comfortable running PowerShell commands to extract data out of Exchange
- Microsoft Exchange or M365 Migration and troubleshooting experience.
- Outstanding time management and problem-solving skills
- End user Training and documentation experience
- Strong Microsoft Outlook skills
- Experience with M365 Migration tools like AvePoint, Bit Titan, etc..
- Experience with Proofpoint a plus
- Knowledge of migrating and validating SharePoint, One drive, and teams from one tenant to another.
