DESCRIPTION OF WORK
1.1 Business Context. Data has become an essential asset in modern business. Supporting the systems responsible for generating, collecting, and distributing data encompasses three main areas: systems administration of the underlying servers, support of applications utilizing the database, and monitoring and tuning the database itself to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and accuracy. The latter is often challenging for small and medium-sized enterprises to effectively manage.
To enhance productivity and maintain seamless business operations, it is imperative to promptly prevent, detect, and resolve SQL-related issues. This necessitates having dedicated SQL administrators who prioritize database health. As your business expands, the importance and dependence on these systems will likewise grow.
Our SQL Managed Services offers clients a comprehensive focus on database health. Our services cater to businesses lacking in-house SQL Administrators or requiring additional redundancy/expertise. We deliver this solution 'As A Service,' providing substantial cost savings compared to full-time employees, backed by a team that ensures continuous monitoring and coverage.
1.2 SQL Managed Services Goals & Scope. The following sections outline our service scope for preventing and responding to critical disruptions in monitored environments.
• Prevent & Reduce Downtime
O Align with configuration best practices

O Support executed by at least 3 administrators
O Analyze and review trends to proactively prepare for growth

Initial Health Check/Onboarding. All environments included go through a set of best practices alignment and setup processes which include:
Ongoing Managed Services. Afterwards, we will enter a continuous monitoring and maintenance phase, divided into fixed and variable services. Fixed costs include monitoring, triage, monthly reviews, and health checks. Variable costs cover remediation, requests, or actions approved by the Client.
Data Collection & Monitoring. We will install monitoring on the serviced environments to capture trends and service anomalies, aiding support personnel in preventing service discontinuity and improving response times when issues occur. If the monitors identify errors or irregularities, our personnel will investigate during the next available normal business hours unless contacted by Client personnel for approved emergency work.
Health Check Reviews. We will review the status and trends of the serviced environments and provide recommendations for improvements to meet Products' platform goals. Findings and recommendations uncovered through these reviews will be documented and communicated to Client during monthly meetings or sooner if the urgency of the recommendations warrants it.
