| ***Production Technician Spec Job Description: Performs a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly tasks in support of specific production units, developmental or prototype requirements in product development, manufacturing engineering or preproduction operations where documentation and guidance may be limited. May perform modifications, rework and quality testing. Work typically includes interaction with development and/or manufacturing engineering personnel. Required experience/Skills: • Experience in using a Microscope to assemble components. • Experience with visual acuity in working with microscopes. • Experience with miniature precision devices and components. • Precise hand / eye coordination. • Technical and detailed by nature. • Able to adapt to changing part conditions. • Able to adapt to various detailed part inconsistencies. • MUST BE A U.S. PERSON Desired Skills: • Experience working in an ISO/clean room environment. • Experience in using a Microscope to assemble miniature parts into assemblies • IPC J-STD-001 solder certification. |
| 3+ years of Experience in the below job functions and /or skills, would be a great candidate match: • SMT (Surface Mount Technology), rework, repair, assembly • PCB Rework, assembly • Medical Device Assembly • Jewelry Making • Watch Repair We prefer candidates that have performed these type of jobs in some capacity under a microscope but willing to entertain candidates with the above past work if they have a solid history of this type of work with microscopes as long as they are willing to work under microscopes as this position will.
