The Digital Marketing Specialist should have diverse skills and hands-on experience with SEO, paid media (search marketing and social media marketing), content management, project management, and web analytics. This role will assist with executing digital marketing strategies to enhance and achieve business goals.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be crucial in migrating and maintaining websites on our enterprise CMS platform (Umbraco). This role requires critical thinking, strong technical skills, project management expertise, content management knowledge, and a proven track record of successful website migration projects.

  • Collaborate with internal content and SEO teams to organize content, ensuring it is optimized.
  • Handle content migration, including data mapping and formatting.
  • Implement SEO best practices to preserve search engine rankings, including proper URL structure, meta tags, and keyword optimization.
  • Monitor and track content performance and proactively address any issues.
  • Expert in using content management systems (CMS) – WordPress is required, and experience with others like Umbraco, Joomla, Drupal, HubSpot, SiteCore, DNN, Optimizely, or Kentico is strongly desired.
  • Strong technical proficiency in managing and administrating CMS platforms and plugins.
  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing strategies, SEO/SEM principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meticulously audit and organize content and data.
  • Problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and unexpected issues during migrations.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools to track and analyze post-migration performance.
  • Adaptability and willingness to stay updated with the latest CMS platforms, technologies, and trends.

  • Solid design sense for content layout and visual elements.
  • Conducted comprehensive keyword research and optimized website content, meta tags, headers, and on-page elements to enhance search engine rankings.
  • Plan and execute paid search advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and social media promotions (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
  • Write compelling short-form content and CTA's that drive engagement.
  • Ensure content accessibility for disabled users, following web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, marketers, and other stakeholders for an integrated approach to website content.
  • Develop project plans, considering timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content creators, to ensure seamless execution of digital assets and campaigns.
  • Utilize analytics tools (Google Analytics/LookerStudio) to track and analyze content performance, including page views, engagement metrics, and conversion rates.

  • Must have at least seven years of hands-on digital marketing experience within an enterprise or marketing agency environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse, and globally distributed enterprise environment.
  • Strong writing and practical verbal communication skills are required.
  • Extremely organized, excellent at managing deadlines, must be accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Coachable, trainable attitude and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment is critical.
  • Bachelor's Degree related to Internet Marketing or Digital Marketing.
