PlanIT Group is hiring a Traveling O365 Migration Engineer We are looking for an Email/Systems Engineer to help integrate newly acquired offices. Part of the Integration process is to migrate teams onto the Email system.
Would you be available? It is a long term contract to hire/FTE. IWe do provide benefits while you are a contractor.

65% Travel required: The ability to travel to throughout the US, Canada, and the UK, Must Haves: Valid Driver's license and currnet U.S. Passport.
Required: At least 100 mb download, and 10 mb upload (no satellite OR cellular-based internet)
Location: When you aren't traveling you are working from your home office.
Experience and Responsibilities:
Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange/O365, Systems administrator, End User Training Experience

Experience and Responsibilities:
Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange/O365, Systems administrator, End User Training Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPOs
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely at multiple levels between business and IT staff
- Must have at least 5 years performing Discovery, Assessment and the scoping of O365 Migrations
- Experience with working with Vendors to update Email preferences.
- Experience with virtualization (VMWare)
- Understanding of monitoring systems (PRTG, Nagios)
- Experience with Backup and Replication systems (Backup Exec, Double-Take, RecoverPoint, Veeam)
- Need to be comfortable running PowerShell commands to extract data out of Exchange
- Microsoft Exchange or O365 Migration and troubleshooting experience.
- Outstanding time management and problem-solving skills
- End user Training and documentation experience
- Strong Microsoft Outlook skills
- Experience with O365 Migration tools like AvePoint, Bit Titan, etc..
- Knowledge of migrating and validating SharePoint, One drive, and teams from one tenant to another.
