Job Description:
This position with support the sell off a variety of systems for the Navy customer.
- The candidate will coat surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective paint using spray gun or other applicators.
- Ideal candidates have previous general assembly experience and familiarity with basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, etc.
- Candidates must have ability to read, comprehend, and follow blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications
- Candidates must have basic ability to operate computer
- Looking for a candidate that is disciplined, quality-focused, schedule-driven, and focused on fulfilling customer expectations
- Looking for a candidate that can communicate with a variety of stakeholders including the customer, peers, and management
- Looking for a candidate that will buy into 6S (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, safety, sustain) and other operations excellence initiatives
- Looking for a candidate that is consistent and reliable
- Looking for a candidate that is able to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Looking for a candidate that able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Looking for a candidate that is detail oriented
Candidate must be able to read blueprints.
Candidate must have 1-2 years experience with Paint Process Techniques.
BA Degree is not required.
