The QAD Business Support Engineer will work to determine technical and business solutions and help implement them in conjunction with other IT staff and functional business units. This position will work closely with Client's personnel and consultants, including collaborating with onsite technical consultants and service providers to complete the implementation of system solutions. Consult with business stakeholders across the globe to analyze and understand business needs, functions/processes to be automated, objectives, desired features, and input / output requirements.
  • Support many current and future QAD business applications and integrations such as Factivity, Eagle Barcode, BarTender labeling, credit card Processing, EDI, etc.
  • Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, and interfaces with other systems.
  • Provide day to day technical expertise and creative solutions for application/process errors, problems, or questions while supporting business.
Skills for Success:
  • 1+ years hands-on experience with using/supporting QAD Enterprise Applications (QAD EE). Functional knowledge of QAD EE ERP applications and integrations.Strong listening, written and oral communication skills.Solid project management capabilitiesHands-on experience with the Microsoft tools such Excel, Project, Teams, SharePointProficient in most QAD Finance modules (AR, AP, GL, Costing, Consolidation, Allocations, Revaluations, Fixed Assets, etc.). Enterprise Financial versions is a plus.Good understanding of other QAD modules such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and EAM.
  • Excellent and effective communication skills (verbal and written).
