PlanIT Group is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join the team 100% REMOTE!

We are seeking a talented and experienced ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements and working with the Platform Architect, Project Manager, Developer, and Quality Assurance Engineers to implement solutions that align with organizational objectives. The ServiceNow Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and drive transformation initiatives.

This role will be a hybrid of 80% BA and 20% PM skillsets.

Top 3 Qualifications:
• Experience with at least 3 of our primary implemented ServiceNow applications:
o Service Catalog
o Customer Service Management
o IT Service Management
o IT Operations Management
o IT Asset Management
• 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience with Scrum; Scrum Master Certification is not required.

Project Duties:
• Understand business initiatives, strategic plans, and platform architecture to influence
project execution
• Evaluate how system changes will affect workflows, data, and reporting
• Working with the implementation partners, business, and IT to optimize and enhance the Service Now platforms
• Extensive background in managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Essential Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate understanding of the Agile framework
• Provide detailed documentation surrounding requirements and work with the
development team and QA team
• Gathered stakeholder requirements and communicated business needs with technical
details to developers and architects.

Skills and Abilities
• In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow – Particularly with Service Catalog Items and ITSM
• Bring proven SDLC knowledge and processes to help streamline workflows
• Requires a unique combination of business acumen, technical expertise, and leadership
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented, meticulous with effective time management
• Should have methodical & creative thought processes, with the ability to quickly adapt
• Proactive in learning new toolsets to improve processes and reporting further

Processes and Methodologies
• Critical Path: determined by identifying the longest stretch of dependent activities and
measuring the time required to complete them from start to finish.
• Risk Management: the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of risks followed by
coordinated application to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact
• Change Management: a systematic approach to dealing with the transition or
transformation of an organization's goals, processes, or technologies

Preferred Skills
• Making process diagrams and workflows in MS Visio
• Agile project management
• Managing work items in Jira, Azure DevOps, or OnePlan
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with ServiceNow
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
